Given a folded tip...
...crease along a line with both a mountain fold and a valley fold.
Like so.
Adjust the crease, so that the tip
is where you want it to be when you are done.
Unfold to Step 1.

Now, reopen the fold just made...
...fold the tip backwards,
making valley folds on both sides of the paper.
You will have to open the folded tip a little.
